COFFEE STORY - SITIO MARANHAO GRANDE

Sitio Maranhao is produced by Edivair José de Carvalho and Luciane Carvalho. In 2021, their coffee won the Especialíssimo award. Their goals are to keep production consistent and make improvements on the farm by creating new plots with different varieties and using raised beds to dry their coffee.

COFFEE STORY - LA CAMELIA

Located in Antioquia, Ciudad Bolívar, the farm La Camelia covers 9.4 hectares. Carlos Andrés Puerta Silva is a second generation producer who hand-picks the cherries manually with the help of his 4 – 12 employees. The coffee is floated, then fermented in tanks and dried on a Marquesina and mechanical drier.
