COFFEE STORY - ESTRELLA DIVINE

This organic coffee originates from the high altitudes of the Rumipite village in northern Peru. The microclimate in this area is unique, as warm air currents from the plains of Rumipite meet cool, fresh air descending from the surrounding La Coipa mountains.

AT THE FARM

The Estrella Divine project started in 2017, engaging approximately 72 smallholders in the pursuit of top-quality coffee in the region. The project offers a number of tools including training to help continually enhance fermentation, drying and storage processes. The project ensures fair premiums for all coffees, emphasising community investment for a consistent supply and continual farmer incentives for quality production. Future priorities for the Estrella Divine project include introducing new coffee varieties.
