Coffee is roasted on a Monday of each week and is shipped the following day. We roast using a state of the art, semi-automated coffee roaster which reduces emissions by roasting using electricity rather than gas. Implementing roast profiling software integrated with a suite of sensors delivers consistent, quality results whilst maximising efficiency.
All our new origin or new season green bean coffee samples are roasted on an Ikawa digital sample roaster. Using digital precision this sample roaster enables precise, repeatable roasting allowing consistent coffee selection and quality control protocols.Whilst also allowing the development of the optimum roast profile to transfer as the foundation for the electric roaster. The sample roaster is compact, light and transportable and allows sample roasts to be conducted anywhere including at the origin.
